Joëlle is a northern actor raised in an English/French bilingual family.
She is a 2017 graduate of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. She is also a recipient of the CNI (Casting Network Inc) Prize for Acting, awarded to the ‘most versatile actor’.
Credits whilst training include: Rose in 3 Winters, Aaron in Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus, Bloch in Kafka’s The Trial of Josef K (adapted by Robert Farquhar), Rent - the Musical and Roberto Zucco. Joëlle made her film debut playing Elise in Jason Wingard’s The Crossing, before going on to play Emilie and Baby Joey in the National Theatre’s War Horse straight from drama school. More recently, she played the title role of Little Voice in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Sonya in Dear Uncle and Rosie in My Mother Said I Never Should as a part of Theatre by The Lake’s 2019 season.
